Let's talk all things photoshoot!
My job as a photographer is to help make your experience with me as fun and flawless as possible, so I put together this page to help guide and prepare you! I want you showing up to your photoshoot feeling confident not only in me and what I can do, but in yourself as well.
1. The outfit!

First off, If you're struggling on outfit choices I highly recommend working with me to get suggestions on what to wear for your photoshoot. Clothing can make a HUGE difference in elevating the images’ overall look. Once you know what you should wear, it always helps if you put together your wardrobe at least the day before your session. That way you’re not rushing at the last minute to get everything together.

Texture can really add depth to a photo. Lace, knitted sweaters and a jean jacket are all examples of how you can stay within your color pallet, but give dimension t o your outfits. Bring on the accessories! Rings, bracelets, necklaces, hats etc. In-direct color matching is a really great way to bring something extra to your photo as well.

I have put together a Pinterest board called "all things photoshoot" it'll give you ideas on
color schemes, outfit choices, location types, poses and so much more. Click on this and
it'll take you directly over to my Pinterest page.
You you can see some beautiful color palette choices, use these to reference to if needed.

2. The body!

Keep your body happy. Make sure to eat something, drink plenty of water, and get a good night’s sleep before your session. Your body will thank you! Photoshoots are a blast but can be exhausting, so you’ll want to feel comfortable and happy! If you are looking at booking a family or littles photoshoot bring lots of snacks & water!

3. Don't rush! it shows

Be sure to leave plenty of time to get ready! For family sessions you'll want to leave plenty of time for showers, baths, dressing, and grooming. Make a fun day out of it! No one wants to show up to their photoshoot feeling rushed and disorganized so be sure to give yourself extra time that way you are ready before it’s time to head out that door.

4. Have fun!
It's important that you have fun! Don’t be afraid to pick up your children and toss them in the air. Give your wife a sweet kiss on the cheek. Tell your husband how much you love him and appreciate him for being there for your family. Have fun. Laugh. Giggle. Joke. Embrace. Kiss. Snuggle. Play. Doing these things will allow me to capture the emotion and true beauty of your significant other or family. Give me the opportunity to capture your love through my lens.

I really hope this page has helped you in some way!
